Abu Kargbo

Abu Kargbo was born on the April 7th 2003. He is 7 years old. His father, a local fisherman, died from severe cold and Malaria. The mother, a housewife, now has been forced to try and care for her family with no training and experience in any particular field. Feeding her family has been close to impossible. She has worked some at a local restaurant washing dishes in exchange for leftover scraps... Abu has not had the chance to attend school until coming to The Covering. Abu’s case what brought to our attention through a city council rep. 

When Abu entered our building the staff said his smile

was bigger than the room!!
