The Turay Siblings are a special group of sisters that were orphaned due to the ferry accident near Shenge. Fatamata Turay is 2yrs old, Zainab Turay is 3 yrs old, Fudia Turay is 6 yrs old, Lansana Turay is 4yrs old and Saibatu Turay is 9. 12 May 1999. The father died in the ferry accident. He was traveling from his village to Freetown to sell some of his crops he had harvested from his farm as he was a farmer. His body was found five days after the accident. He had drowned.
