Bauya Project
In coordination with Just Hope International, The Raining Season is working on extending their reach into other communities. Bauya, pronounced (bow-ee-ya) which is located in the Moyamba District of the Southern Province, is our next location for care. The plan for this location includes 5 phases that will provide homes for orphans, build up national partners, and provide an extensive center for the local people.
Highlights of the phases are below:
1. Purchase 100 acres of land-Complete
2. 15 children’s homes, wells, bathrooms, main hall, 4 of the 8 primary school buildings, and access roads-In Process
3. Expand the school into the surrounding areas-Future
4. Expansion of Church facility-Future
5. Building of a Medical facility and vocational school-Future
