Founders

Jason Rust, (an ordained minister and business professional) and wife Erica Stone (singer/songwriter) started The Raining Season after they successfully adopted their daughter, Jayda, from Sierra Leone in December of 2004. It was through that experience that their eyes were opened to the devastating conditions thousands have faced since the end of SL’s brutal civil war.

They make their home just outside of Nashville, Tennessee.
