LuAnn Langenfeld (Donation Coordinator):  LuAnn has worked in the field of customer service and as a mortgage loan representative for over 20 years.  She is the mother of 3 children and 4 grandchildren.  Her heart for the orphan comes from her 2 adopted grandchildren who are both from Sierra Leone.  It is her desire that children in Sierra Leone have the opportunity to grow up in a healthy, educated environment that teaches them to serve others and reach their own country by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Karen Pyle (Sponsorship Coordinator): My name is Karen Pyle. My daughter Erica and her husband Jason, are the founders of The Raining Season. They, along with Paul and Tina Schmidt, have worked very hard to build a home for the orphaned children of Sierra Leone, Africa. Naturally, having my daughter involved in such an undertaking would of course entice me to get on board. When I was approached and asked to consider taking the job of sponsorship coordinator, I felt a little unqualified….well a lot unqualified! I had never worked with a computer and I had to learn fast! I now feel such a part of The Raining Season. It gives me great fulfillment to take part in helping these precious children whom I have come to love as my own. Having traveled 3 times, I feel that part of my life is in Africa with our kids. They are amazing and they have taught me so much about God’s love, power, and provision! I am so blessed to share my life with The Raining Season. I live in Missouri with my husband Enoch. We have 10 grandchildren, and are still waiting for 3 of them to join us here in the U.S through adoption.  We have a son, Enoch Jr. and wife Darrah, and another daughter, Elisha, and husband Jason.  God has truly blessed our family and continues to do so!

Hayley Jones (Travel Coordinator):  Hayley and her husband Mike were married in 1999.  They have ten beautiful children and make their home outside of Nashville, Tennessee.  Hayley holds a degree in Education and was a teacher for eight years prior to working at TRS.  Hayley was the kindergarten teacher of Jason and Erica’s adopted daughter from Sierra Leone.  That is when her eyes were open to the life of the people in that country.  After spending much time in Sierra Leone, she has a heart for the people there and a desire to share her passion with others.  She loves her role as Travel Coordinator and helping others begin their own journey to Sierra Leone.
