In 2021, we introduced The Cotton Tree Collection. The Cotton Tree Collection includes two t-shirt designs, but it is so much more than a t-shirt. Like the cotton tree that sits in the middle of Freetown, it represents freedom. For our children, it represents freedom in Christ, freedom from the burden of sin, freedom from fear, freedom from poverty, and freedom from hunger.
This is Joshua. Last year, Joshua needed a new medication to support his medical needs and increasing seizure activity. Your support helped us raise funds to cover this new medication for Joshua for two years. When you purchase a t-shirt from The Cotton Tree Collection, you help ensure that Joshua continues to have access to medical care that is crucial to his survival.
This is Davida. In April, Davida shared a powerful Easter message with TRS supporters. Because of The Raining Season, she has a caring staff to love and disciple her. Your new t-shirt also means that Davida has a staff that provides spiritual nurturing to her on a daily basis.
This is Alie. Alie moved into our very first Roots House when we first opened the doors in 2018. Alie aspires to become a lawyer with the hope of helping children find families. Proceeds from your purchase of a t-shirt in The Cotton Tree Collection help to ensure that Alie continues to have opportunity through education so that one day his dream of becoming a lawyer just might become a reality.
This is Mary. Mary is also part of The Roots Project. Last year, Mary passed the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination and enrolled at Milton Margai College. She just concluded her first semester exams and will soon start her second semester. We have dreamed of the day our first child would enter university. Your support of The Cotton Tree Collection guarantees that Mary has a safe place to stay and the support she needs as she continues her education and transitions to adulthood.
The Cotton Tree Collection offers hope and opportunity. For thirteen years, The Raining Season has depended 100% on the generous financial support of people like you. You have shown up through regular giving, sponsorship, travel, building campaigns, and Meet the Need fundraisers. Supporting TRS through The Cotton Tree Collection will empower The Raining Season to continue to grow, dream, and envision an even better future for the children we serve in Sierra Leone. It will allow us to meet ongoing needs and even some extras where sponsorship falls short.

Your willingness to link arms with us helps us to fight for this mission TOGETHER.
