Celebrating Christmas with Pastor William

Merry Christmas to you and your family! As we enter into the final week of the Christmas season, we are grateful for the many ways the Lord continues to bless us.  The children who enter the gates of The Raining Season are transformed as they learn about Jesus and His faithfulness. Because of Him, we celebrate stories of redemption and healing.

Once again, Pastor William has graciously shared a Christmas message for The Raining Season family.

From Pastor William:

As the angel appeared to Mary with a special greeting, “You are highly favored.” Mary was favored and special because of Jesus Christ. For the angels also brought good news of great joy to the world, for Christ is the reason for the season.

Christmas brings special news and a special gift to mankind. This special gift was found wrapped in cloth and lying in a manger, not the Christmas trees, the lights and fireworks, the shopping, Santa Claus, and the merrying.  Of course, those things are nice, but this gift, Jesus, needs to be received, unwrapped, celebrated, and shared, giving glory to God as the good tidings declare: you are favored.

Joy to the world, the Savior has come. It is a joyful day for all.  Let us celebrate Christmas with joy and great thanksgiving, remembering that Christ is the reason for the season.  It is a joyous day indeed, as God and sinners reconcile. Christmas is a day filled with happiness, love, joy, laughter, and care.

We will take a short holiday break from our weekly email through the end of 2025.
