We hope you’re enjoying the new year! Our kids rang in the new year with a special praise and worship service at the center. Then, those who made it to midnight celebrated the new year by singing a new year song. They gave thanks for the many good things that happened in 2023 and are looking forward to 2024.
When we relaunched the blog in 2018, we did it to have a meeting place — a place to gather, a place to celebrate, to share information, to lift up prayers, and to find community. Five and a half years later, we are grateful for this space and for your continued support. As we begin 2024, we are hopeful for what the future of The Raining Season holds. Our children are thriving, and there is so much on the horizon for TRS. In September, we announced that The Raining Season was set to launch and build out THE ROOTS PROJECT – a village that will provide sustainability, restoration, and hope to so many. While this means we are moving to Kono, and we are excited to see 2024 bring us one step closer to that goal.
Thank you for meeting us here each week. Thank you for linking arms with us. We look forward to sharing more and celebrating with you in the year ahead. It is our prayer that you will be blessed in the year!
Many blessings,
The Raining Season
