Small Gifts Make a Big Impact

As we enter Week 4 of our James 27:1 Sponsorship Drive, we are filled with gratitude. Over the past three weeks, we’ve celebrated new sponsorships, shared stories of transformation, and witnessed God’s hand of provision through your generosity.

Because of you, children like Amie, Fatu, and Kumba are surrounded by care, stability, and love. We have seen what can happen when you are led to give with compassion and faith.

Now, as we move closer to Orphan Sunday, we’re inviting our current sponsors to consider taking one small step that can make an even greater impact.

The $5 Challenge

Sometimes, small changes make the biggest difference.

If current sponsors increased their monthly sponsorship by just $5, the collective impact would be incredible.  It would help to support nutrition, medical care, safety, education, and spiritual growth for all of our children.  This small step creates a big ripple effect across every pillar of care.

One-Time Gifts Make a Difference Too

If increasing your monthly sponsorship isn’t possible right now, consider making a one-time gift toward our campaign.  Your one-time donation helps bridge the gap for children who are not yet fully sponsored and strengthens the daily operations that make The Raining Season possible. Every dollar matters, whether it’s $5, $25, or $100, because every gift is multiplied through God’s grace.

Your Faithful Giving Sustains Our Mission

Each child at The Covering is supported through a team of sponsors. A child is considered fully sponsored when 10 sponsors give $45 per month, providing complete care and stability.

When you increase your giving or make a one-time gift, you are helping close the gap for those who are not yet fully sponsored. You are ensuring that every child continues to receive the consistent care they depend on day after day, month after month.

Your continued faithfulness allows The Raining Season to ensure that we continue to provide a safe place for our kids to live, opportunity through education, nutritious food, essential medical care, and spiritual nurturing every day.

Update on Our Goal

We are drawing closer to our goal of 27 new sponsorships by Orphan Sunday, representing $14,580 of pledged sponsorship support in the coming year, but we still have work to do. As we ended week 3 of our James 1:27 Sponsorship Drive, we had $2,760 in pledged sponsorships of our $14,580 goal for the year ahead. Your continued partnership makes this possible.
