21 Students Take NPSE Exam

As the school year in Sierra Leone will draw to a close in July, our children are diligently preparing for their end-of-year exams. Last week, twenty-one children from The Raining Season’s Preparatory School, including Esther K., Teange, Alex, and Esther L. from TRS, took the National Primary School Examination (NPSE).

These students have spent months studying, attending classes faithfully, completing assignments, and preparing for this important moment. We are incredibly proud of the hard work, perseverance, and dedication they have shown throughout the year.

This NPSE determines not only their promotion to the next grade level but also their eligibility for Junior Secondary School.  If they pass this exam, they will continue their education as part of The Raining Season Junior Secondary School in the fall.

Education remains one of the most powerful tools to help children thrive and build hope-filled futures. Since opening its doors to the community in 2022, The Raining Season Preparatory School has continued to work on developing our school so that the children who attend will pursue academic excellence and perform well on national exams, setting them up for educational excellence in secondary and beyond.  Our staff and teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure that both children from The Covering and children from the community receive a top-notch education that compares to the best schools in Sierra Leone.

As exams continue and the school year comes to a close, we would be grateful if you would join us in praying for our students, teachers, and staff. We pray for peace and confidence for students as they complete school work and exams.  We pray for the students awaiting their NPSE results, and for continued provision for The Raining Season Preparatory and Junior Secondary schools and educational programs.

Thank you for standing alongside The Raining Season through your prayers, encouragement, and support. Your partnership makes opportunities like these possible for the children we serve.

Many blessings,

The Raining Season
