Holy week is a time for us to create space in our lives to reflect on Jesus’ sacrificial suffering and the power of His resurrection. As we have been reminded over and over, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
We are grateful for our children’s hearts for loving and serving others. This year, we asked Aminata to share an Easter message with The Raining Season family. Aminata is seventeen years old.
A message from Aminata:
“Happy Easter to all the sponsors and forever families. He is alive! He is alive!
The resurrection of Jesus is the key to all Christian faith. Why? Just as he promised, Jesus rose from the dead. We can be confident, therefore, that he has accomplished all he promised. The bodily resurrection of Jesus shows us that believing Christ is the ruler of God’s eternal kingdom. The power that brings us to life is available for us to bring our spiritual self to life. This was not anything that passed through the hands of God. It was a name, a name that goes through His son with strength and soul. If the disciples of Jesus would have taken his body, no one would have sacrificed their life or possession for things that we are doing in life. Or if the enemy would have taken his body, no one would ever believe that he rose from the dead. But because he really rose from the dead, every one of us know and believe that, indeed, he rose from the dead.
So, on behalf of management, staff, and we, the kids, we want to wish you a happy Easter!”
This Sunday, we will rejoice in His resurrection. The Raining Season wishes you and your family a joyous Easter. He is risen!
