It's Giving Tuesday!

Each year, people like you give back to The Raining Season and help us continue our mission of helping vulnerable children in Sierra Leone. We are so grateful to the people who step in to support our children. Giving Tuesday is an impactful way to bless small nonprofits doing meaningful work around the world. We know there are many charities doing great work where you can share your resources, and we are VERY thankful for every person who supports us, on Giving Tuesday and all throughout the year.

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back today?

$45 sponsors a child for one month, helping to provide food, education, medical care, safety, and spiritual nurturing.  

$53 provides clean drinking water for all of our children for one week.

$47 provides one large bag of rice.

On this Giving Tuesday, we also want to share a few ways your support has impacted The Raining Season in 2025. Thanks to your generosity, our fall sponsorship drive raised $10,580 throughout October and November. As our school continues to grow and serve more children from the surrounding community, donations to education have strengthened our curriculum, expanded classroom space, and provided essential supplies. Sponsors of two of our young adults also gave toward household essentials as they moved into a home closer to family.  This is an important milestone toward independence. Additionally, many of you stepped in to help cover medical expenses for a child, allowing The Raining Season to continue offering excellent care even in some of the most challenging circumstances. Finally, as we close out the year, sponsors have been giving toward our annual Christmas celebration, and our children and staff are eagerly looking forward to their Christmas party this month.

Throughout the year, needs arise, and time after time, so many of you graciously give. God has been faithful in every season, and we are deeply grateful for the financial support you provide all year long.
