As we enter into Thanksgiving and the holiday season, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude and thankfulness. Thankful only begins to describe how we feel. The past two years have presented many challenges; however, the Lord continues to provide and bless The Raining Season in ways bigger than we could ever imagine. God has always been so gracious to fulfill our needs.
This year, we have seen sponsorship grow and a successful building campaign that allowed us to secure The Covering for another year. Our children and staff are healthy, and our children continue to thrive in school. We are grateful for an amazing staff that shows up every day to love, care for, nurture, and disciple our children. We are thankful for YOU and your consistent support all through the year. Because of your support, our kids have a safe place to live, essential medical care, nutritious food, opportunity through education, and spiritual nurturing every day.
We serve a powerful God, and He is working through The Raining Season in Sierra Leone. We are grateful for how you help us fulfill this mission, whether through prayer, financial support, sponsorship, travel, or sharing our story with others. We will continue to fight for the most vulnerable children in Sierra Leone through all of the ups and downs, and through it all, we give thanks to God. Happy Thanksgiving!
