Summer is quickly winding down, and the memories of June and July can only be seen in the rearview mirror. For The Raining Season, June and July included travel teams visiting our center, our kids wrapping up another school year and they participated in a Field Day. This summer, we also kicked off our Building Campaign and welcomed new children through our gates.
Our journey goes back 10 years. Since we first opened our doors in 2009, we have watched as our small orphan care center grew and served hundreds of vulnerable children. We have watched children thrive under our roof and adoption stories unfold. We also launched our next phase with The Roots Project. In 10 years, we have experienced joy, heartache, and everything in between. We are thrilled to say this is only the beginning.
This year we are celebrating 10 years of The Raining Season! There is no one we would rather celebrate with more than YOU, our supporters, our cheerleaders, our prayer warriors, and our partners.
Join us on Saturday, August 24, as we celebrate 10 years! We have a fun-filled event planned for the whole family. Join us from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Eastern Flank Battle Field Park in Franklin, Tennessee.
We look forward to celebrating with face painting, a cartoonist, live music, a balloon artist, yard games and of course, delicious food. Preston James, best known for appearing as a contestant on The Voice, will join us providing live entertainment!!! Check out his music below!!
