At The Raining Season, we believe that every child is full of potential. In Sierra Leone, where poverty, abandonment, and limited access to education continue to affect the lives of vulnerable children, sponsorship is more than just a monthly commitment; it's a lifeline.

The Raining Season Sponsorship Program is an essential part of TRS that helps fund and support various pillars of our mission to care for vulnerable children in Sierra Leone. When you say yes to sponsorship, you connect with a child and support The Raining Season's five core pillars – safety, education, medical, spiritual, and nutrition.  

When you sponsor a child at The Raining Season, you do more than provide financial support. You become part of that child's story—a story of hope, healing, and restoration. Sponsorship helps provide our children at The Covering the best possible care, including a safe place to live, opportunity through education, nutritious food, essential medical care, and spiritual nurturing every day.

We've seen children come to The Covering carrying the weight of their trauma. Over time, through the stability and care made possible by sponsorship, they begin to thrive. They smile more. They believe in themselves. They begin to dream.

Sponsorship is the reason our children are excelling in school, promoting to new grade levels, and even pursuing university-level studies. It is the reason a child who once knew only hunger now eats three meals a day and is surrounded by a staff who sees and loves them.
