Meet Kevin. This week, Kevin is our latest child to be recognized in our ongoing How it Started – How it’s Going feature.
How it Started - Kevin was born on March 12, 2009. He came to The Raining Season in October 2009 when he was just seven months old. Coming to The Raining Season would mean Kevin would have a safe place to live, opportunity through education, nutritious food, essential medical care, and spiritual nurturing every day.
How it’s Going - In March, Kevin turned fifteen years old. As you can see in the pictures, Kevin has grown from a sweet baby and toddler to a young boy who loves to play soccer and read. Kevin is in grade 9 and enjoys math and science. This July, he will take his exam to promote to grade 10, so he has been studying extra hard. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and playing. He is a hard worker with a generous heart. He looks forward to teams visiting The Covering from the U.S. and is always happy to help others.
Kevin’s story might have looked very different had it not been for The Raining Season. Thank you for being a part of his story.
