The impact of sponsorship does not go unnoticed among our kids. Not only does sponsorship provide for their current needs, but it also allows them to dream of a future that includes opportunity. One of our children recently shared this in a letter to his sponsors, “I just want to thank you for all of your support towards me. I’m really grateful to you all. It’s really a great opportunity for me to be here, around people who love and care for me. To be around brothers who show me love whenever I need it. Thank you all for loving me. You are, and will always be, in my heart and prayers.”
Our sponsorship program is designed to allow our children to build personal relationships with their sponsors and to know that they are loved. Our children love writing letters to their sponsors and are looking forward to the day when Skype calls resume! They pray for their sponsors every single day, and on the occasion that their sponsor visits them, they savor every moment of the one on one connection. To these kids, sponsorship is so much more than your monthly support.
