The Raining Season community is made up of generous, passionate, and determined people, like you, who partner with us to provide a hopeful future for the most vulnerable children in Sierra Leone. As The Raining Season continues to grow, dream and envision an even better future for the children we serve in Sierra Leone, we are looking for volunteers to partner with us.
There are many ways you can use your talents and abilities to collaborate with a team of others and support a specific need at The Raining Season.
Ambassadors for Kids at TRS:
Ambassadors use their gifts to generate new sponsors and help others actively become involved with The Raining Season through sponsorship. We have a BIG goal in 2021. Our goal is to double the current number of sponsors supporting our kids. New in 2021, as an official Ambassador for Kids at TRS, you have the opportunity to earn a FREE trip to Sierra Leone on a future travel team! Our goal to double sponsorship will ensure that we continue to provide a safe place for our kids to live, opportunity through education, nutritious food, essential medical care, and spiritual nurturing every day. Our goal is big, but God is BIGGER!
Fundraising:
The fundraising team is responsible for raising funds to support short-term and long-term goals toward The Raining Season’s operation. As a fundraising extraordinaire, you will work with various campaigns to maintain and increase our operating capital throughout the year. This includes brainstorming and implementing fundraising activities, both virtually and in-person. Increasing our operating capital will allow The Raining Season to continue to grow, serve more children, and one day, build our dream center.
Prayer Partners:
Prayer is critical to everything we do at The Raining Season. If you have traveled to Sierra Leone, you have witnessed the power of prayer at our center during nightly devotions. As a TRS Prayer Partner, you commit to praying for The Raining Season’s specific prayer needs on an ongoing basis. These prayer needs will be communicated consistently privately to the prayer team. This small gesture will have a significant impact.
We are so thankful for the many individuals who use their unique experiences to encourage and support The Raining Season. It is because of people like YOU that our kids continue to grow and flourish.
